By downloading, installing, or using Maqam ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Maqam Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly subscription ($1.99/month) or a one-time non-consumable lifetime purchase ($29). All purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit and governed by Apple's standard refund and subscription policies.
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel subscriptions from your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
Promo codes distributed by us (Maqam) or our partners may be redeemed inside the app via Settings → Pro section → Redeem Code. Redeemed codes are not refundable for cash. We reserve the right to revoke codes obtained through fraud or unauthorized distribution.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Maqam is a precision tool, but pitch detection accuracy depends on microphone quality, ambient noise, and instrument condition. We do not guarantee specific accuracy levels for any use case (concert tuning, recording session, academic work).
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

The app, its design, instrument illustrations, and source code are owned by Alpgiray Kelem. Tuning data is based on documented public-domain musicological references. Bağlama, ud, kanun, kemençe and other instrument tunings are part of cultural heritage.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the app or at maqam.pro.
